The Sandhurst Safari estate is 10,000 hectares in size, of which 8,000 hectares are enclosed in a new electrified game fence.

GAME:
Antelope on this magnificent ranch include gemsbok, eland, kudu, impala, springbok, waterbuck, letchwe, blesbok, white blesbok, red hartebeest, wildebeest, and a number of smaller species. Other game includes white rhino, Cape buffalo, water buffalo, giraffe and zebra. There are altogether twenty-one species of game and approximately 190 species of birds on Sandhurst. The most spectacular carnivore is the African lion, of which there are 65 at present. Brown hyaena, jackal and African wild cat are also found.

Lion and other game are hunted on the ranch, mostly by overseas hunters. There are lion enclosures for breeding. These enclosures are also electrified.

There is a fully equipped abbatoir for meat from the cattle on the 2,000 hectare stock-ranching section, as well as from the game. Outlets for approximately 70 carcasses per month are secured. There are four cold rooms and two large freezer rooms.

ACCOMMODATION:
The camp can accommodate fifteen people in en­suite facilities. The stone and thatch chalets are air-conditioned. The camp can host approximately 150 people, and has ample catering and conference facilities.

There are three houses on the ranch which are in good condition and are used for accommodation of the staff. There is a fourth house that is in need of repair. Game bomas (pens) have been erected.

The following vehicles are included in the price:
two landrovers for hunting safaris, one general purpose landcruiser, one 4x4 Mazda, one 4x4 double-cab, one eight-seater vehicle used for excursions into nearby Botswana, one Mercedes truck used for game transport, and one Nissan van used for meat deliveries.
